A tailored duration, priced on request. More time for a particular place, a favourite subject or the first light of the day.
A walk, with room to experiment.
We choose our stops for the light on the day. That might mean the stonework around King’s, a quiet passage, reflections on the Cam or the colour of the market. Bring your questions and your own way of seeing.
I may also take a few informal photos of you along the way with my phone or camera. If you would like a dedicated portrait session, visit Cambridge Photographers to arrange one.
A few useful answers
Do I need an expensive camera?
No. Bring the camera you enjoy using. The smartphone tour works with iPhone or Android; the camera tour gives us more time to work with your own equipment.
Will you take any photos of us?
On these tours, you’ll take your own photographs with my guidance. I may also take a few informal photos of you along the way, using my phone or camera—a lovely reminder of your visit. There’s no need to book a separate portrait session for that.
Which languages are available?
Photography tours can be in French or English. Tell me your preference when you enquire.
Do we go inside the colleges?
Standard routes use public streets and paths, with exterior views of the colleges. College admission is not included. Routes may change with access, weather and light.
