There was a golden age of travel poster design — the 1920s and 1930s, when railway companies commissioned artists to make the English countryside look as romantic as it actually was. Cambridge featured prominently. Punt on the Cam. Bicycle past the colleges. Come and think great thoughts.
This collection is a love letter to that era. Each design begins as an original photograph taken in Cambridge — Senate House at midday, St John’s at the water’s edge, King’s College Back Gate in early morning light, the Mathematical Bridge in summer, Garrett Hostel Lane in snow. The image is then transformed through illustration technique, hand-touched colour palettes, retro typography, and authentic paper-grain texture into something that feels discovered rather than designed.
Printed on museum-grade acid-free stock in archival inks. Available in A3, A2, and A1. Limited-edition runs are individually numbered and signed on the reverse by the photographer.

Each card is printed on premium heavyweight stock from original Cambridge photography and vintage poster artwork. The selection includes King’s College Chapel, the River Cam, Senate House, the Mathematical Bridge, and scenes from the hidden Cambridge that most visitors never find.
Order Postcards by Post (or locally delivered by hand)
We can send a pack of Cambridge postcards directly to you anywhere in the UK or internationally. Contact us with the number of cards you’d like and your delivery address for a quote. You can order either packs of the same postcards or mixed postcards, photographs and/or vintage postcards created from our photographs. We only currently offer A6 (105 × 148 mm) postcards without envelopes.

- Your order is printed, quality-checked, and dispatched within 3 to 5 working days. You receive a tracking number when it ships.
